Enhance Your Sight With Vision Therapy
Our eyes and brains rely on each other to provide clear vision that makes sense.
The image we see is transmitted through our eyes to our brain, where we interpret that information to move about in the world.
eyeDOCS can help strengthen the relationship between the two using vision therapy.
Find out if you could benefit from vision therapy.
The Building Blocks of Sight
Refractive errors like myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism affect how well our eyes can focus at varying distances.
Visual errors affect how well our eyes work together to track moving objects, converge the image each eye sees into one, how well our eyes move around, and what image our eyes deliver to our brain.Visual skills are the building blocks to good vision. As we grow, we develop essential skills that allow us to see and interpret the world around us. There are 17 essential visual skills needed to achieve optimal vision.
How eyeDOCS Can Help
eyeDOCS wants everyone to see life to their fullest potential. We believe that when you have functional vision, you are better able to go about daily activities and recreational tasks.
If you have suffered from a traumatic brain injury, eyeDOCS wants to help you regain your visual skills. We’re happy to work with you to promote functional, healthy vision—no matter the cause.
Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation
After experiencing a brain injury, we understand that it may take some time to regain your sense of what’s “normal.” Very often, brain injuries can affect the functionality of your vision.
Because the connection between the brain and the eyes is so fragile, but so important, we can help you re-establish those lines of communication to help repair your vision.
In-Office Vision Therapy
We welcome you to participate in our unique vision therapy programs in our eyeDOCS offices. Our skilled and friendly optometrists are qualified to assist you in your vision therapy goals.
When you attend vision therapy in our office, we have many tools and equipment available to assist you on your journey to visual wellness.
Remote (Virtual) Vision Therapy
Not everyone needs to come into our office to benefit from vision therapy. Our qualified optometrists are passionate about providing you with the vision therapy program you need, wherever you are.
That’s why we offer virtual vision therapy sessions—so you can work on your visual wellness from your home, the office, or on the go.
VisionBuilder Computer Program
With the help of the VisionBuilder, we can create a unique and comprehensive vision therapy plan that is curated to your distinct visual needs. The computer program is an excellent tool we use to help improve your vital visual skills like depth perception, eye movement control, peripheral vision, visual perception and integration, and more.
eyeDOCS may use this computer program alongside other methods to ensure you are getting the most from your vision therapy.
RightEye Eye-Tracking System
Binocular vision disorders occur when the eyes are misaligned. This can lead to symptoms of dizziness, headaches, motion sickness, anxiety, and more.
The RightEye Sensorimotor allows us to easily identify binocular vision disorders, helping us build a vision therapy program that is unique to your needs.
Creating Your Unique Solution
Everybody’s visual needs are different. Whether you have sustained a traumatic brain injury, you’ve been living without some essential visual skills, or you have a child whose vision is not developing according to their growth, the trusted pros at eyeDOCS are here to help.
Our optometrists will be able to help identify visual skill needs during your comprehensive eye exam, but we may ask that you return for further evaluation. Each vision therapy program is created custom to your needs.
